BETWEEN TWO WORLDS
A ghost ship. A transformed person. These scenarios are CALEUCHE, a word originating from the mythology of the South of Chile that gives meaning to this international collective art project of the ARMAR association. CALEUCHE establishes a dialogue between artists from different cultural realities to offer an innovative opportunity based on a discursive proposal, decolonial aesthetics. The project is part of a creative process where the European imprint and a Latin American reinterpretation are mixed. It is the enhancement of a new vision of the European work of art, it is no longer just transporting an artistic piece from Europe in space and time, with the implicit value and its modern load, but rather we propose to modify it.
